Special Olympics are supported by 700.000 volunteers in 185 countries, who offer their services in their local communities, nationally and internationally to the 2.25 million Special Olympics Athletes around the world. 2.500 volunteers alone are involved and have been offering their valued services to Special Olympics Hellas, supporting training, competition and participation needs of 11.000 athletes with intellectual disabilities.
