We proudly invite you to cover the 2011 Special Olympic World Summer Games, in Athens, the biggest sporting event worldwide for the year 2011. From June 25th to July 4th, nearly 7,500 Special Olympics athletes from 185 nations, competing in 22 Olympic-type sports will bring forth our vision of a world, where every person, regardless of their ability or disability, is accepted, welcomed and valued.
Members of the media wishing to apply for media credentialing must complete the online form by clicking on the Media Operations Registration button.
The Deadline for the registration is 15/03/2023 for countries that do NOT require a visa. For countries that require a visa the deadline is 15/02/2011. Please click on the country list button to check if you need to apply for a visa. Click here for the Country List
To ensure that the correct credentials are issued, please fill-out and review the form for accuracy before submitting your request. Confirmation will be made by e-mail or fax.
