Mrs. Eleni Petroulaki attended the Special Olympics World Games «Athens 2011» in the Complex of Hellinikon and awarded the medals to the athletes of badminton. Eleni was pleased by the organization, however a bit disappointed by the fact not too many supporters showed up for the games even though such an important even is taking place in Greece and the entrance is free. «These children deserve a huge applause by all of us» she stated. «We should encourage them to keep on trying, but also so that the world could become a better place».
Mrs. Petroulaki congratulated all the volunteers who contributed to this event and stated: «one needs a lot of strength and will to be able to cope under such special circumstances. We all have to follow in their footsteps and be alert by doing what we can for these children because love is priceless».
