Golden Coast Hotel is an A’ class / 4 star, beach-side hotel situated in the historic town of Marathon, Attica. It’s 35km from the centre of Athens, a 40min drive from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, and 4km from the town of Nea Makri. It’s built in traditional Greek style in extensive grounds, consisting of a 4-floor main building and bungalows arranged in a village-like complex.

 

Accommodation

240 sea view or garden view hotel rooms, 301 bungalows, studios and apartments and 3 family apartments, make it a total of 540 rooms / 1,200 beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with TV, safe deposit boxes, hairdryer, WC & bath, direct dialing phone (ISDN lines) and WiFi internet service. Our bungalows have either pool or garden view. In addition, several of our apartments have kitchen facilities and can accommodate up to 8 guests.

 

 

Sports & Facilities

Our hotel complex has 3 large freshwater swimming pools, 8 tartan tennis courts, 1 multi-court (volleyball, basketball, mini soccer), crazy golf, and table tennis. We also operate a Mini-Club for our little guests in a separate, kid-friendly area with its own pool and playground.

 

 

Food & Beverage

In ever corner of our large resort, we provide our guests with excellent food & beverage options to satisfy every need & occasion. A breakfast, lunch & dinner buffet service operates at our Main Restaurant & Terrace. You will also find a Bar/Snack-Bar by the main pool, open all day, as well as a Pool Bar and an à la carteGrill-Restaurant. Furthermore, you will find our Main Bar in the main building, as well as another restaurant by the beach.

Business & Events

Our hotel boasts excellent resources for conferences, events, business meetings and receptions. We have a main theatre-style hall, as well as smaller meeting rooms, all designed in order to accommodate any type of company & event. We will also provide you with the latest audiovisual equipment (screen, flipcharts, video projector, microphone installation, papers & pens), as well as full catering and anything else you might require. As we have a small chapel on site, we also cater for any type of social event such as weddings, christenings and receptions.
